Monday Hoops Club

Our Story

My lifelong goal was to be an NBA scout. I quit my day job and started NBAProspects.com to showcase my work and break into the league. After spending my savings attending NBA events and building relationships, I landed my first opportunity with the Dallas Mavericks’ G-League team, the Texas Legends.

Realizing I needed a unique edge, I started scouting local high school games in Toronto. Day by day, I built The Monday Report, which became Canada’s #1 subscription basketball scouting service, helping NBA and NCAA teams recruit top Canadian prospects. But when coaches and players recognized my name more than my brand, I knew I had to build something bigger - Monday.

To build brand awareness, I started with Monday University-style hoodies, worn by top Canadian prospects and even a few NBA players. But it was the hats that took off: my go-to accessory. They’re wearable year-round, one-size-fits-all, accessible at a lower price point, and deeply connected to basketball culture. I saw a clear gap where basketball and fashion intersected, but I had no idea how to turn that vision into a brand. That’s when my sister stepped in - a Swiss Army knife in the fashion world - taking over socials, campaigns, and creative direction while I stayed focused on the bigger picture.

After countless samples, we found the perfect trucker hat. I wore it to games, and the response was insane. That’s how Monday Hoops Club was born. For years, sending out scouting reports every Monday symbolized my dedication. That same consistency built our brand. Success isn’t a straight line - you have to adapt, be self-aware, and differentiate yourself. But if you stay persistent, like I did every Monday, you’ll figure it out.

Chase your dreams in the best-fitting hat on the market.
